Gianyar Bali Safari Park is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest attraction, the Rainforest Trail, on April 20, 2023. As the only rainforest trail in Bali, this experience offers visitors the chance to get up close and personal with many varied animals from around the world, housed in large, open enclosures that mimic their natural habitats.
Rainforest trail officially opened by the owner of Bali Safari Park Mr. Frans Manansang, accompanied by Mr. Marcel Driessen and Government Representative is Mr. I Ketut Mudana.
“We hope our visitors truly enjoy the Rainforest Trail, the beautiful environment, the close-to-nature atmosphere, unique spots for great pictures, and of course, observing the collection of animals up close make the visit to Rainforest Trail a fantastic experience,” says Marcel Drissen, General Manager of Bali Safari Park.

The Rainforest Trail is a winding path that takes visitors through a dense forest teeming with life. Along the way, you’ll come across a diverse range of animals, including black jaguars, flamingos, wallabies, otters, spotted deers, macaques, and many more.
This experience has an important educational and conservation aspect to it, as visitors will learn about the various species of animals that call the rainforest home and the threats they face in the wild. Bali Safari Park is committed to conservation and sustainability, and visitors can see this in action through the park’s breeding and conservation programs.
One of the unique features of the Rainforest Trail is its focus on conservation and sustainability, as the park is home to the largest conservation and breeding program for Bali Mynah birds in the world, as well as a number of other endangered species. By visiting the Rainforest Trail, visitors not only get an up-close look at some of the world’s most fascinating animals but also support important conservation efforts.
To make the most of your Rainforest Trail experience, it’s best to visit the park area first because this is a continuous flow to meet other endangered species. Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes since the trail can be quite hilly and uneven in places.
